Child Development - Psychiatrist Guest Lecture

On 11th September 2023 college facilitated a seminar based on Child Development guest lecture by Mrs. Kumutha R M. A, M.Phil., Assistant professor department of social, at CMS College of Arts and Science. She gave a deep knowledge about mental development of a child and appropriate method for teaching them. Her seminar was very interesting. She introduced some technics for teaching the students by knowing their levels. She gave a lecture about how to handle children. She shared her experience as a psychiatrist. The seminar fully covered the child's development from childbirth. She taught us the importance of the teacher's role in the student's life. She also explained about the child helpline number which is 1098. She conducts balloon activities for teamwork and also taught us clapping therapy which will increase the concentration. Finally, I shared my feedback about the child development guest lecture seminar. As a parent, that class was very useful for me to handle my child.
